Another tournament to look forward to is the CIMB Malaysian Open Squash Championships, which will take place from 9-14 September 2013 at The Curve, Mutiara Damansara. It will also be the eighth year that CIMB is associated with this world-class sporting event as title sponsor.

Besides its role as title sponsor, CIMB has been at the forefront in supporting Malaysia's squash players to encourage them to achieve excellence in the international arena. The most notable player sponsored by CIMB is the seven-time world champion Dato’ Nicol David. Dato’ Nicol, who is also CIMB Squash Ambassador, has been World No. 1 for over six years. Other players we sponsor include Ong Beng Hee and Mohd Nafiizwan Adnan, World No.22 and No.33 respectively.

CIMB is also proud to support a global bid campaign by World Squash Federation (WSF) to include squash into the 2020 Summer Olympics - making CIMB a proud WSF Olympic Bid Partner.
