What is Malware?

Malware is also known as "malicious software."Malware is any kind of unwanted software that is installed without your adequate consent. Viruses, worms, and Trojan horses are examples of malicious software that are often grouped together and referred to as malware.

How to safeguard your account(s) from malware infection?

Kindly take note of the best practices below to protect from malware infection:

1. Install robust anti-virus, anti-spyware and firewall software on your computer and other devices and configure it to update regularly.
2. Perform regular scans of your systems for malware and other risks.
3. Do not open spam email messages containing attachments or click links on suspicious websites.
4. Ensure you logout properly at the end of each session by clicking log-out button. Do not exit by simply closing the browser window.
5. Please ensure you login to BizChannel@CIMB via CIMB Bank website.

We are pleased to inform you that the transaction pricing for telegraphic transfer via BizChannel@CIMB has been revised to the following:

i. Singapore Dollar, Indonesia Rupiah, Thai Baht RM8.00
ii. Other currencies RM20.00

The pricing is effective from 11 April 2011

Please be informed that the services listed below will not be available daily from 11:45p.m. to 6:00a.m. the next day due to system maintenance:-

i. View account balance.
ii. View transaction history.
iii. Fund transfer & bill payments.
iv. EPF, LHDN, SOCSO and ZAKAT.
Please be informed for first time EPF customers you are advise to submit your files to EPF for testing before uploading into BizChannel@CIMB.
With effect from 1st March 2008, transaction charges for statutory contributions to KWSP, LHDN, Zakat and SOCSO are waived. You may enjoy this waiver immediately by uploading the monthly statutory contribution files through our BizChannel@CIMB.
